On 27th August 2016, staff report in the Telegraph indicated that a man (Mbah Gotho) resident of Sragen, Java in Indonesia is supposedly the world’s oldest man according to the history record. What he needs to do next? He wants to die. He has remained all ten of his siblings including his own children. His very close relatives are great-great grand children, great grand children and grand children. A grandson of Mr. Gotho said that his grandfather is looking for his death since his age of 122. He said that Gotho has become weak in the past couple of months and he is now spoon-fed. Telegraph further indicated that he is spending most of the time to listen the radio due to his eyesight has become weaker.

But, it is important that what would be the correct evidence to confirm his age? The Telegraph also published a photograph of government ID card of Gotho as one of the evidence. It was also published on the news website of Indonesia “Libutan6” and specified his current age of 146 years. This government ID card was showing his birth date of 31st December 1870 with his original name “Sodimejo”. Gotho said that he know the time when the Gondang Sugar Factory was opened in his hometown in 1880. The Guinness World Record pointed out that the world’s oldest person was Jeanne Louise Calment, died at the age of 122 in 1997, now Gotho is going to break his world record by adding more 23 years.
