A website “Occupy Democrats” published an article on 22nd October 2016 and reported that “the U.S Presidential candidate Donald Trump had Just Removed His Name from His Hotels”, because drop-off business linked with his provocative political campaign. However, Donald Trump didn’t plan to eliminate his name from his hotels. Previously established hotels of Donald Trump such as Trump International Hotel in Chicago will remain his name on hotel. Point to be noted that Trump Hotels announced on 28th September 2016 about presenting a new life style brand of hotels and named it “Scion”. Some media outlets had assumed that hotel business of Donald Trump had suffered in the year 2016 during his presidential campaign.
The daughter of U.S presidential candidate, Ivanka Trump and the Executive Vice President of Trump Organization for Development & Acquisitions also said that his hotel business is getting stronger and she announced about a new brand of hotels in a press release. Some news outlets connected this issue with his presidential campaign regarding the announcement of new brand of hotels named “Scion”. The chair of the Hospitality Service Department at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management in Orlando informed the NBC News that the announced change of new brand hotels should be considered a new strategy for targeting and attraction to rich customers. So, it is true that Trump Hotels had announced in September about new brand hotels called Scion, but Trump is not removing his name from his previously established hotels.
