A photograph started circulation on most of the social medial websites in the beginning of March 2016, supposedly showing a sign to inform customers that Taco Cabana restaurants will not serve the supporters of Republican candidate Donald Trump for the U.S Presidential Election 2016. The displayed sign in the posted photograph found at a single location on Taco Cabana restaurants, but it doesn’t represent the official policy of Taco Cabana restaurant chain. The CEO of Taco Cabana Todd Coerver officially declared that it is not correct and it was generated to be a prank by someone for the restaurants in the area of San Antonio. A similar sing also posted linked to Mexican restaurants in the area of San Antonio.

Another meme also circulated on the Facebook on 13^th March 2016 about Mama Margie. This meme ensured its customers that this kind of sign to be considered just as a prank. The co-owner of Mama Margie Susan O’Brian declared in the San Antonio news media that this kind of sign related to Mama Margie is not associated with restaurant policy or its workers. He confirmed that we always welcome everyone at our restaurants regardless to their political connections. So, this sign is not affiliated to our management of restaurants or employees at Mama Margie. The CEO of Taco Cabana said that “We wish that everyone come at our Taco and drink a margarita and enjoy regardless to their political connections.
