President Trump will assign a major Legal Fight task to Rudy Giuliani
US President Donald Trump is reportedly looking for Rudy Giuliani to assign him major campaigns across the country. His personal lawyer will handle a potential disaster-scenario job. He will oversee a historic legal fight if the election is contested come November. Point to be noted that the former New York City mayor has pushed conspiracy theories about election fraud ever since the 2016 election, when he claimed dead people usually vote for Democrats and the vote was rigged against Trump. Trump’s personal lawyer Giuliani echoed those comments in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity earlier this month. He claimed the Democratic Party was getting dead people to vote in state elections. Any evidence of mail-in voter fraud during the Covid-19 pandemic must be met with a major legal challenge.
Moreover, the President has informed his close links that he needed Giuliani to handle the possible legal fight. An attorney and conservative media personality, Jay Sekulow worked on Trump’s legal team throughout former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Trump said, “I want Jay and Rudy on this”. It is noteworthy that Giuliani’s potential involvement in the upcoming legal challenges the Trump campaign may launch in the weeks and months ahead. It has been considered a legal fight Giuliani has seemingly been preparing for over the last several years. Giuliani said during an interview with a TV host Hannity about how he couldn’t get a single dead person to vote Republican as the campaign for mayor of New York City.
Giuliani said, “I mean it’s amazing, these guys have been cheating for years. Do you know how many dead people are in those books? This is very serious, Sean. I’ve talked with the president about this. I mean we have to have a major legal effort”. Various reports have indicated Joe Biden has meanwhile assembled a team of lawyers to work on expected potential post-election legal fights. It is still not clear when Americans will learn the official results of the 2020 elections because of the expanded mail-in voting options in key battleground states due to the coronavirus epidemic. Most US states, including Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania will not start processing ballots until 2020 Election Day.
