President Trump has posted photos of 60 Minute Interview with Lesley Stahl
US President Donald Trump has tweeted out pictures of the 60 Minutes interview he walked out of because he didn’t like the journalist’s tone. He suddenly walked out on the White House interview with Lesley Stahl and has threatened to release the footage himself before it airs on Sunday. Now, Trump has shared a string of photos of the interview with Stahl on his Twitter account. President Trump has now made no comment on the pictures. These photos were shot as he talked with the veteran broadcast journalist. A reliable source linked to the interview informed the Washington Post that Trump walked out of the interview because he did not like the tone of Stahl’s questioning.
President Trump was pushed during the interview on his handling of the coronavirus, including his relationship with Anthony Fauci and his criticism of the Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. He said, “She just had a tone he didn’t like”. Point to be noted that CBS News has defended the journalist and said she was talking to her producers, both of whom were masked, immediately after the interview and that they had all been tested for coronavirus. President tweeted after the interview and said, “I am pleased to inform you that, for the sake of accuracy in reporting, I am considering posting my interview with Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes, PRIOR TO AIRTIME”!

Trump added, “This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about”. The White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows also defended his boss in an appearance on Fox Business. He said, “Well, he didn’t walk out. I mean, the characterization of that, he spent over 45 minutes with Lesley Stahl. I’ve looked at every single minute of the interview, and then some. She came across more like an opinion journalist than a real reporter”. Meadows also said that there was a high probability that the video would be released before Sunday.
