An image supposedly showing a pilot is making a “Selfie” outside the cockpit window in flying airplane. This news was circulated on a number of social media websites and shared by large online users. It is important that posted image is indicating various doubtable signs that posted image altered before posting online. First of all, the sunglasses reflection of pilot is showing airport runway. This reflection confirms that the pilot was hanging out from the cockpit window of his airplane at the time of taking a “Selfie”, but the airplane was not in the air and on the ground at an airport.

So, it is considered an altered photograph. The picture was taken from grounded airplane and altered by emerging another photograph of an island in order to present as a selfie during a mid-flight of a pilot. This photograph was basically generated by “Instagram” page of (@Gansooo) Daniel Centeno. This page didn’t explain that how this photograph was created, but confirmed that this photograph was altered. It is not the first time that Centeno used this kind of technique in the page, as this selfie capturing from outside the cockpit and mixed-up with another aerial image. It is supposed that this trick was took place for “Instagram” followers.
