The “Willamette Week” has reported a heartbreaking story on 17th January 2017. It was reported that a homeless woman was found at a bus stop with barefoot, clad in scattered clothes and holding a dead baby in a dipped below freezing temperature. It was also said that the death of infant was discovered on 9th January 2017 and it has been considered the 5th death on the streets of Portland during the current year’s cold weather. Just before a week of a baby found dead on the street of Portland, at least 4 homeless people had been died during the recent cold weather in the first 10 days of 2017. It is still unclear whether the baby was born on the street and died or the baby was died before birth.
We have found that the report was correct and it was filed by a legitimate news organization. But, there was an issue regarding the posted photograph because it was attached to an existing shocking story in order to make it as the similar meme, which doesn’t have any relation with the incident. Originally, the posted image was published in 2013 and it was showing a homeless man in Washington D.C. The meme regarding a woman and her baby also got viral and spread the claim that baby didn’t die with any other reason, but the baby froze to death due to extremely cold weather condition. A responder had reported that the baby was alive at the time of discovery, but a medical examiner of the state indicated that the infant was basically stillborn.
