Hawaii is Considered the Only Place in Finding Purple Ladybugs
A Facebook page published an image of purple ladybugs on 9th March 2016 with a title “Discovering Our Wonderful World” by adding the text that “Yes, there are purple ladybugs. Only 15 purple black-spotted ladybugs are found in Hawaii. Initially, these 15 ladybugs were grayish in color and after growing too old, the body color changed in dark purple, but black spots are not clearly visible. The top comment regarding this photograph was admiring and changed the current sorting method, and the new comments were belonging to a group of skeptical users. It was not too difficult in searching the original photograph that was changed and created a new image showing “purple ladybugs”. The website of this photographer had provided all the necessary information in order to figure out the genuineness of the image of purple ladybugs.
It is said that it is very clear that the photographer captured the photograph of a collection of typical red ladybugs and then altered their color as it is considered the art-work of the photographer. It is important that similar photographs have been seen for showing red, yellow and purple ladybugs. Point to be noted that positions and formation was exactly the same in all the pictures showing different colored ladybugs. It is correct that ladybugs or ladybirds have been found with different variations in color. The Universities of Exeter and Cambridge was started study in June 2015 regarding the relationship between ladybug signaling and their appearance. Their color acts as warning signal and they use poisonous chemicals for their defense.
