Easter Crosses in the Skyline of New York City
The showing image in the post is skyline buildings in the city of New York enlightening their widows with Easter crosses and it has become more popular since many years. It was normally posted with a claim that this type of lightening will not be allowed in the future. It is important that displayed image is original and it was taken at the Easter event in the year 1956.
The Oxnard Press-Courier was published the photograph on 31st March 1956 with the statement that ‘big crosses made by lightening windows and shining on the skyline of New York and it is considered a part of Easter lightening in the financial district of Manhattan. This photograph was taken from the roof of the Municipal Building. There were a number of crosses 150 feet high in the City Bank, Forty Wall, City Services Co., Street Corp and Farmers Trust Co. buildings. It is important that Oklahoma City used building windows to show crosses in the year 2010. The Empire State Building also used for festive lights on religious holidays events.
