Corning Glass Museum always remained a point of interest for travelers all over the world. The museum started in a very modest way in 1951 but now it has more than 50,000 pieces of glass of art for its visitors to view. Since its formation, the museum passed through three major expansion plans in Corning.
Thomas Phifer the designer and architecture from New York is the contractor for these new wings of Corning glass museum. Mr. Thomas said maintenance of light while designing structure for new wing will be a challenge for him because right is the most important element of the shine of the museum.
