Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal has announced in a message that Elon Musk will no longer join Twitter’s board. Last week, Agarwal confirmed Musk is expected to get appointed to the board as he purchased 9.2% shares of the company. But he now said the CEO of SpaceX has decided not to take a seat on Twitter’s board.
Agarwal said the company announced the appointment of Musk last week. He was expected to join the Board member based on check and official approval. The appointment of Musk was scheduled and officially effective between March 4 and 9. But he informed me on the same morning that he will not join Twitter’s Board.

Elon Musk still maintains 14.9% of the Company
It is important that joining Twitter’s board could prevent Musk from maintaining at least 14.9% of the company. However, Musk’s purchase has become public understanding as his shares in Twitter were estimated at $2.89 billion. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has found publicly tweeting about his ideas for the company.
However, it is very difficult to find when he is just dragging. Musk also posted a poll. Just in case Twitter should have an edit button the day prior to the company confirming for actually adding the feature. Musk also seemingly informed Twitter that he will not join Twitter’s Board.
Musk also tweeted his strategies such as including verification indicators with the paid Twitter Blue service. He is supposedly transforming Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters into a homeless shield even if anyone didn’t show up.
The Original Message of Agarwal
Moreover, the CEO of SpaceX has now decided not to join Twitter’s Board. Agarwal shared what actually happened. He said the Board and he had various negotiations regarding Musk joining the Board. Twitter is more delighted to cooperate and clear the supposed risks.
The company also believes the joining of Musk as a trustee of the company is similar to all board members. He has to perform in the best interests of the company. All our shareholders are taking the best path forward. Twitter’s Board offered Musk a seat.
Agarwal’s message said the appointment of Musk to the Twitter Board was based on a conventional endorsement and background. Musk’s appointment to the Board of Twitter was scheduled to become officially applicable on March 4 and March 9. But he shared it on the same day that he had decided not to join the Board of Twitter.
