Super Moon resting atop a Radio Telescope
A photograph purportedly showing a Super Moon that positioned in just the perfect way and the blessing point of the photographer appeared as the Super Moon is resting atop a radio telescope, it looks like an egg in a cup. This kind of image also got popularity in November 2015 on the internet. These kinds of photographs are so called ‘Just in Time or Perfectly Timed’ photographs. These pictures have accidentally joined together with multiple objects or events in order to make it more convincing and enthralling images. The displayed image is also an example of such kind of images.
The Northern Advocate of New Zealand explained that this is an ethereal photograph and it is originally a digital compound made by two separate photographs of a radio telescope and a moon. It was created by an astro-photographer Chris Pegman. It is said that astro-photography is a usual hobby of Pegman. He love to capture the night sky in hugely detailed panoramic photographs. He made a number of fun last Friday with a couple of photographs. One of them was a Night time panorama at warkworth of a radio telescope (this photograph was captured for a photo challenge online last year) and the other photograph is of the Super-moon. This photograph was captured at the time when the moon was at very close point to the earth and looked like much bigger than its original size, and it was captured a couple of months ago at Kerikeri.
